Chopin at Salzburger Festspiele

This year’s Salzburger Festspiele (July 27th – August 30th) marks Chopin’s birth bicentenary with a set of excellent concerts.

The Polish composer’s music will first and foremost resound at two solo recitals by Krystian Zimmerman and Maurizio Pollinion August 18th and 22nd, respectively.

On July 28th and 31st the audience will have a chance to savour Chopin’s Piano Concertos interperted by Ivo Polorelić and Camerata Sazburg under Philippe Herreweghe, a precursor of classical music being performed on historical instruments.
