Polish Artists Have Played for Chopin (Polscy Artyści Chopinowi Zagrali) is a project marking the 200th birth anniversary of Fryderyk Chopin.
It brought about an album featuring compositions of four different electronic music genres – IDM, ambient, breakcore and experimental – all drawing on the great Polish composer’s work. The young artists participating in the project have created an unprecedented combination of state-of-the-art digital technologies used for music making and classical works by Chopin. The CD’s sleeve features an art work by Chazme, Elomelo and Sepe, executed on a wall facing the Palace of Science and Culture in the centre of Warsaw on Złota Street, during the Street Art Doping Festival.
