Fryderyk Chopin 2010

A new, richly illustrated book Fryderyk Chopin 2010 will be launched in bookstores in mid-December.

Highly authoritative and of great editorial quality, it constitutes an elegant showcase of today's Poland. It may serve as an exquisite gift for official delegations, foreign acquaintances, Poles who have been living abroad for a long time, and naturally music lovers from all around the world. The book contains text in Polish, English, French and Japanese, and is complemented with a DVD featuring Fryderyk 2010, a film taking you on an interesting journey through present-day Poland together with Chopin. The film's excellent photography by TV Project's Jerzy Szkamruk presents a fascinating, vibrant and, most importantly, many-sided picture of Chopin's Poland. The inspiring content "Chopin – na szlakach Polski" (Chopin: The Polish Routes) was authored by Ryszard Sławiński, a journalist, long-time member of Warsaw's Fryderyk Chopin Society's Board, co-founder and director of the Chopin Festival in Konin-Żychlin, Poland.
