On February 24, in the Tel Aviv Felicja Blumental Music Center & Library Exhibition Room vernissage of the exhibition dedicated to two Fryderyk Chopin’s stays in Vienna takes place.

Piotr Szalsza, is the author and curator of the exhibition, Polish film and theatre director, script writer, musician and translator who lives in Austria. Exhibition is composed of meticulously prepared reproductions documenting those two visits in Vienna. The exhibition has been presented in Poland and in Austria. Małgorzata Suwalska, supervises the graphic side of the exhibition, Zofia Beklen and Simon Posch are the producers. The exhibition is open until March 24, 2011.

Mr. Szalsza likes to close the gaps in the knowledge about Chopin and other outstanding personalities of the world of music. He has focused on the Chopin theme for many years. The film director has produced several documentaries dedicated to the composer: Chopin in the Czech Republic (1979), Chopin Means Poland (1980), Chopin in Vienna (1984), Chopin Impression (1991), Chopin’s Heart (1995). On February 25 in Tel Aviv Cinematheque show of another film takes place: "Common Meal is Good, it Brings Together those who are Faraway" (pl. "Dobry jest wspólny posiłek, bo zbliża oddalonych") (2007) presenting Polish tournée of the theatre troupe Yiddishpiel of Israel.
