Philosophical discussion concerning the art of music interpretation takes place at the University of Toruń on April 16. The speakers will be accompanied by Rafał Blechacz, pianist.
Until May 16, 2011, candidates can apply to participate in the All-Poland Competition of Knowledge about Fryderyk Chopin. The competition is organized by the Polish National Fryderyk Chopin Institute for young adults up to 17 years old.
The Fryderyk Chopin Museum received a donation of forty-seven original autographs, including letters written by Chopin and Jane Stirling.
The vernissage of the exhibition dedicated to the 16th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition takes place on March 17, at 6.00 pm. in the Dom Polonii in Warsaw, 64 Krakowskie Przedmieście Street.

Tatiana Shebanova, an outstanding Russian pianist, died on the 1st of March, 2011, in Warsaw. She was the winner of the 2nd prize in the 10th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition held in Warsaw. She left behind exceptional heritage in the Chopin domain.
